Vampire Diaries on hiatus now till late January?!

How many eps are in a regular season? The way the last episode ended was extremely disturbing and now we have to wait till next year to see how it continues? Gee thanks alot CW....
One nice thing, a marathon beginning Monday the 14th, perhaps I can record all the episodes if they are playing all day!

Well I know there are 10 eps so far, I have been following on the CW online the whole season. There is a marathon going beginning on Monday the 14th. I have already started figuring out whether I have room on my external hd to record all 10 eps all day and then have my hubby burn them to dvds later. Beats buying the season because I'm sure it won't be available for at least a year. Then I'll have sufficient footage to start being creative again.... good footage. I'm an HD nazi lol.

I think I might have to check out the Vampire Diaries because I'm so sick of a Volvo driving, iPod listening, brooding depressed vegetarian vampire! (Edward what's his name).
