Does an air conditioner count? We spent $8700 on a new air conditioner recently. It works well and supposedly will save us money on our bills, but it was so expensive! It wrecked our budget and really made me feel depressed! LOL - I don't think an appliance is supposed to make you feel depressed! Lately our washer has been making a weird noise. I think it may be getting ready to break on us! It never ends!!!

Is the wierd noise a knocking noise. If so you don't have to replace the washer you just need to balance it. Read this article to see if it will help you, you can do the repair yourself. http://factoidz.com/how-to-level-a-wobbly-clothes-washer/

No, it's more of a high pitched screeching sound. It is really annoying sounding! Maybe a belt of some sort? But, I will still look at your Factoidz!

Yeah, ladym, I have bought an electrical hair dryer lately. Though there is one in my house I still have to get an extra one. I'm going on vocation after a couple of days. I'm fed up with the inconvenience of without a hair dyer in some of the hotel rooms that I had come across several times. Sometime there is one, but it doesn't work well. Therefore this time I must carry along with me the brand new one. It's a Pensonic brand hair dryer in black and gray color. I pick this for it's smaller in size and light in weight as well compared to others. The most attractive point is, it's foldable and can made into a smaller size. It's worth to purchase with the lower offer price during christmas festive on sales season too Happy posting

I'd started having coffee cravings a lot lately especially in the mornings since I get up early and work with kids I feel like I need that extra boost to get started. So I bought a small coffee pot at Walmart. It only makes about 5 cups and that's all I really need because I don't drink that much and my partner doesn't either. I bought it for one main reason, I can tell it what time to start making coffee and it would be ready for me when I got up in the morning. It's already been used a handful of times but I haven't had the chance to use the program feature yet.

I bought a hot water heater a few weeks ago. And yes, I like it. It beats the old one that I had as it was completely worn out. It finally quit working after all these years. I have to say that not having hot water wasn't any fun. And with it being winter and having a well, the water was ice cold. But at least that only lasted for a say or so. I went up to the hardware store and got one immediately! I wasn't going to do without having hot water, after all! The only thing I didn't like was having to put it on my credit card as I didn't have the cash to pay for it. But at least I had a credit card to use, thank goodness. Otherwise who knows when I would have been able to get one. Happy mylotting!

A couple months ago I had to replace my washer and since water usage is of concern here we bought a Hi-e model. It's ok, seems weird how it opperates compared to the one we had for the past 7yrs. The only thing I don't like is you have to dry many of the items in the dryer because they have plenty of lint on them instead of being able to line dry. I used to only put darks in the dryer but now it seems most everything has to. Wich stnks cause I like the money savngs I get from hanging out my wash & being a lil green too doesn't hurt either.

Yes, I've bought an electric whisk, it does help me to cook dishes with eggs. Since then I have eaten cream more often.

Unfortunately not. Saving up for the absolute mountain of Christmas presents I need to buy has seriously affected my spending habits. Thinking back now, the last appliance I purchased was a toaster. Not very interesting, but at least it does the job it was designed to do properly and without any hassle of having to fiddle with various settings and additional gizmos.
