A wild idea has come to my mind. I have known that the government now has declared Marshall Law to the whole province of Maguindanao. And chaos wrapped country from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao from the past months. Imagine after the destructive typhoons here comes the brutal killings and now the Marshall Law. There are only few months to wait fro the 2010 elections and I can see that by that time the whole country will not yet be stable.

I certainly hope not. I think the one on the seat right now is long overdue in her position and there is not need for her to stay longer than what is provided for by law. I really do not think that what happened in Maguindanao should not affect the whole country to stop elections. They are just one province in the country and we have 70+ more which I think needs change in their local governments. It should not be an excuse that one province may become out of control the whole nations would react. The unstableness of our country is because of the status quo we are experiencing the people's voice should be given a chance right now.

I have not seriously thought about it. Perhaps it could be a ploy of the present administration to prolong the governance they have that is about to end come May 2010. I believe that it will be bloodless if they ever even think of doing it. People now are not like the times before when President Marcos declared martial law. People fight now. That will be a warning to any administration who wants to amass millions of pesos by staying longer in power.
