Does your spouse or bf/gf give you a list for what they want for Christmas?

I drop hints, it does not really work. He sometimes says what he wants, but mostly I just buy him what I want him to get.

Hi garden gerty: hope your husband love what you buy for him. At least i have always heard that women have a better taste than men so there's nothing to worry about it. I trust in my sister for example on this things, specially if we are buying some clothes. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. Alvaro.

Hi lady!
He probably will not have a list of his own wants this Christmas but I listen to his words everyday about what he want to (not just for Christmas). So i guess, I'll have to make it this season for him. Or better yet, I'll give him a list. Very good idea

I agree, better it that way.
So you will always like what you can receive

I didn't give them a list and they didn't give me a list. We just kind of talk about it and go on the principle of buying things we know the other person would like to recieve or that they could use. They have checked out my amazon wishlists and have decided upon things from that but I didn't give them a list. They have the freedom to decide what they want to get me.

I have never given a partner a list in the past nor would I want to. I would prefer him giving me something that he wants to give to me, not something I have demanded. If he actually knows me well enough then he would be likely to give me something that I like or want anyway. I wouldn't want to have a list given to me from a guy either.

Hi lady: Actually she has never done tis before but i usually ask her what does she want because i think that to give a person a surprise is not that important, what really matters is that, the person you love enjoys his/ her gift. She doesn't need to make a list, i always ask before buying gifts. Thanks for asking me this question. Merry Christmas and have a nice day. Alvaro.

I more just try to make hints on things I want and need....does it work? heck no!
This year I mentioned wanting 2 of the under the bed storage totes...needing new socks, underwear and bras.
I don't think he would know how to make a list for me. Last year was easy because I knew a movie he wanted that hit the stores just in time. This year he got socks and a pair of pj pants, 2 things he needed that he wasn't in any hurry to run and buy for himself.

My whole family makes a wish list. It makes it really easy to know what everybody wants. My husband will usually give me a few surprises, but he pretty much follows my wish list. I really like the whole wish list system. I never have to worry if my husband or sons will like what they are getting, because they actually picked it out!

I have never given my husband a list we have never had that sort of money. We tend to spend all our spare cash on the kids.We normally buy each other a token gift for christmas day, then through the year we mignt see something we would like to have.I have known couples really fall out if they don't get enough presents off each other.Childish or what.
