Conklin shut us out..Howard played great.He only let one by him early in the first. The devil of it is the wings actually played well. Conklin just played extremely well! We threw probably 70 or more shots at them, if you count blocked and redirected..Lidstrom hit the goal post twice..he is ready.
Oh well I think we play Nashville Friday..We play Somebody anyway. I am so depressed, you have no idea.
Haven't heard anything on the canes yet..hope you are having a better night.
We are having a blizzard..snow..blowing snow..no goals.

Well, we lost too. I guess I won't be praying anymore to the hockey gods. We played a good game but just couldn't seal it in the 3rd. I thought Cam played well. All of their goals except the last, an empty netter, were scored in the 1st. I'm sure Cam was a little rusty and I don't know about your team but anytime we put someone new into the line up and make a change our guys get weird. I am so glad Brodeur did not get his record shut out on us! All in all it was good. Just wished we could have gotten a point or 2.
Next game Washington. UGH. I saw where Buffalo beat them tonight. I wonder if Timmy Gleason has something for Ovie?

I'm sorry your canes lost. It sucks when there really isn't anybody to blame or be mad at. Wish I could remember who hit Franzen the night he blew his knee out.
We did put one in the net tonight but it got called back, and even that was the right call. It is what it is.

I haven't seen the highlights yet, but from the box scores, it looks like it was a good game. Everytime it is a 1-0 game, I just think it means the tenders stood on their head. It looks like it, because oficially it was 42 shots against Conklin. If you do have the preds on Fiday, can your wings beat them for me?

Conklin was awesome, I wish we had had the money to keep him here. If we are playing Nashville I can at least probably promise you that someone will get beaten..and I hope we win the game too. Preds / Wings is almost always an ugly game. May got stitches tonight so I don't know how much fighting he will be doing but Abdilkatur and Eaves were showing off their muscles pretty well tonight.

I hate snow! Here if they even predict an inch ,everything closes.I'm sorry to hear about the wings. Forgive me,I could have seen this game on NHL Network but I was already committed to watching Bogart films. Now I'm glad I did.Thanks for posting about the games.I hope the snow has stopped by now.

I wouldn't like snow very much if my state shut down for a couple of inches either. You are always forgiven..I love old Bogart movies I watched one the other day..really old one..he played a poor guy with a famly that this cop put in jail, then felt bad, cop tried to help him..Bogart ended up shooting him, and then giving the cop blood, the cop wouldn't give him up and I obviously don't remember the name.
