Liverpool lost their match against arsenal last night.
that has really nailed the coffin. an early end to their dismal season i suppose.
a friend stayed up to watch it at 2am and was sorely disappointed. The lost sleep was not worth it!
liverpool started this season with so much promise. now it looks all doom and gloom again.
do you watch soccer? when was the last time you were disappointed with your team?

Well, I guess it's really a sad news for Liverpool fans, but it's a great news for Arsenal fans. As I'm supporting Arsenal, I'm very happy with the result, especially when the other three teams didn't really play well, and Arsenal get 3 points now.
I watched the match last night for awhile, and saw Liverpool's goal just before the end of the first half. I was a bit upset and I just went to bed, as I was quite tired too. This morning when I woke up and I checked the match result, and I was happy to hear that Arsenal won.
Well, I don't really when the last time I was disappointed with Arsenal. Sometimes they played really well, but sometimes when you didn't expect them to lose, they just lost.

I used to watch soccer and was thrilled when there is a goal for the team I "supported". My cousin had a miscarriage because of a soccer match and the prize is a divorce. After a series of world cup matches where my friend dessert me for the soccer matches, I boycott all soccer matches. I just find it plain stupid for 22 big guys to chase after a ball and the biggest fool is the one who stay up to watch the 22 guys chasing after a ball. What a disappointment
. I know I may cause some annoyances here. Relax! keep cool! There is no intention to insult anyone. I simply taking the opportunity to vent my penned up anger.

no worries! not insulted at all. i find your comment interesting. you mean she had a miscarriage cos she was so angry that her hubby went to watch a match?
The Price i suppose was the divorce. i used to find it dumb that people were so passionate about a game, but i suppose it's good entertainment. just important to know what one's priorities are in life, ultimately.

I am not a soccer fan. But I cannot escape from listening to the soccer news when I am at work. My lunch kakis can never stop talking about them!
Seriously, what is so interesting about a game where twenty two macho man come to the pitch to chase after a ball. And after they catch up with the darn ball, they kick it away!
Seems like the main gripe of the day still isn't how the soccer teams fair. Most of the talk is centered around when they will finally be able to watch the matches for a cheap price on TV!

YEah, liverpool seems doomed for the moment.. But i think their slump in form wont be for long.. ONce they have got their star players back again, together with the addition of stronger players, liverpool will be a formidable side again.. haha =D
It's been a while since i last watched soccer, and the time i got disappointed with my team, is, they got relegated all the way to LEAGUE 1!! lol =D And imagine that they were playing champions league football, just 6 years ago!! haha =D

I watched the game yesterday.
As a Liverpool fan, it was very depressing... However, my other half supports Arsenal (when it's convenient), and it's always enjoyable to watch a good game of football, whoever wins!
Liverpool's season is pretty much over already, which is ridiculous.
I genuinely thought that they'd be competitive this season.
