Because of the Price or Because you think they are cheating you

Hello,Yesterday I went shopping with my family and the sale was not too bad. I saw this whole section full of nail polish and shocks and other items... and the sign said $1, so I got myself 2 nail polish... when I checked out then the cashier said this nail polish is not $1, it is $2.50 each... I was like, I saw the sign said $1. I ended up without taking them... well, $2.50 is not a big deal but I just dont like the way they did... she kept asking me, if I want to take different colors for a $1. I said NO... What about you? Do you still take whatever the price she said? or you think they cheat you on the price.

No, I wouldn't have bought them on principle. If the sign was misleading, either deliberately or by mistake, then they should honour it.

see you know what I mean right? I hate it... and like yesterday, when I buy egg and the sign said $1.50 but if you buy more than 6 then it will be $1.99... hahha... and I got 6 but the cashier charged me $1.99. I dont know how they do it but when I asked then he gave me for $1.50

When I notice I've been overcharged in the supermarket, I will always go and ask for it to be corrected even if its just a few pence. Sometimes they get a bit snippy and say "its only 20pence.." but, its not the amount, its the fact that they've overcharged me.

That kind of thing has happened to me before! In Australia if something is marked at a lower price and it is a mistake, the store has to give it to you for the lesser amount or in some stores they have to give it to you for free if it was their error. I would not pay the higher price unless it was something I really wanted at all costs, it is a bit of a principle thing, I think!

I know... if I made a mistake I always give my customer for free or just the same amount that they told me... you know customers is always right... but not always to me though

It depends on what it is...sometimes they do have only certain colors on sale because they are going off the market. Like I went and bought lip stick a few weeks ago and the color that I wanted was of course not on sale...the colors that were on sale (by the same brand) were the ones that were being discontinued so they were on clearance. That happens all the time.

HI, I understand about color things but this box was locate in the $1 section...and there are many the same color that I picked out. I think they just try to get you to get it or miss place or something. but anyway, I didn't get it and I am not regret that either
