messy room - my room is the same as the one shown in the pic lol.
Hi!! As a child I was messy but now m even more messy than I ever was.I have my own room in my house and there are books lying all around my study table and some on my bed and floor. There are loads of CDs and DVDs scattered around the room and it sometimes becomes difficult for me to find the right CD when needed .My clothes would be lying here and there and I have this habit of wearing a cloth once and then not wearing it again until its washed again so there is a pile of clothes in my room waiting to be washed every week.My Mom is the most irritated on me for this kind of behaviour but I have been lazy all through my life and I know even if I clean up the mess the room would return to the same situation after an hour or so .Hopefully in future I might get rid of my messed up ways!!

My mom was so mad but she got where she let it stay that way so I got to liking it and keeping it that way so when I moved out I was that way till I finally got out of that habit. I am still lazy but I get the stuff done at least now. I have learned how to break the dirty spell.

Because of school and activities, as a child, my room used to be kept oftenly messy because I did not have the time, and sometimes was a bit lazy to clean it up, especially when I knew that even if I did clean it up, it would just end up messy again, which is why I adopted the lazy thing. Now that I'm older, I clean my room once a week, as well as the whole house every month because I want to give a good impression on guests so that they do not think that I'm some dirty little slime ball. My concern for cleanliness has really changed over the years, with each year becoming even more important to me, especially when I tend to have parties, like on christmas day.

I use to be such a slob. I never picked up my room and everything was everywhere. I have changed now and are more cleanly. I love being organized and cleaning. I have never been the best at cleaning but I try. I think that being organized is one of the best things for me. When I was a kid I always had problems with not wanting to clean my room and keeping things up and tidy. I have changed now I am tidy!

As a child, my mom kept my room and the rest of the house cleaned up! I didn't have to bother with my room because I helped my Dad work in the mechanics garage he owned! All I ever did was go to school, and work in the garage, until I got married! Never did clean anything 'in the house'! When I went in the military, well they trained us to clean, and clean, and clean everything about the barracks, and rooms! And they made sure that we knew how to keep house! Well when I got out of the military, this served me a good purpose, because now I am a good housekeeper, and organizer, and I have instilled it in my kids, and my grandkids! I tried to instill it in my wife, also (but that was a lost cause)! Everything I do, is kept up, and kept fairly clean and organized, including my music business, and all other activities I get involved in!

Hi thedaddym since childhood, we will be asked to keep the things in its original place after its use is over. So naturally our rooms will be clean. After playing with toys, we will keep it in its place, and after eating chocolates or biscuits we will drop the wrappers in the dustbin and if any thing is spilt on the carpet, we will clean it immediately in our best possible means,

I actually kept my room clean all throughout my childhood....what happened I wonder?? LOL My bedroom now is a wreck, with so many things piled around that don't even belong in the bedroom. However, that will start to change tomorrow. Part of my goals for the new year is to declutter, clean, and organize the house! Marsha

As a child my room was such a mess. I would have clothes and things everywhere. I mostly had trash all over too. I hated it but hated to clean too. My mom just let it stay that way so I never learned to clean or keep it up. Now I have finally learned to organize and keep things clean and tidy. It took me a while but I did figure out how to get it done. I am still lazy about it but it does get done.
