My son is having surgery right now. I am using a courtesy computer they have here at the hospital. Have you ever used a computer at a hospital.

I hope your son comes out of surgery okay, and that he recovers quickly!
Yes, I've used a hospital computer before. My mother had her thyroid surgery earlier this year, and I used the computer then to check my email and show my grandma a picture of the prom dress I would be wearing to prom in a few months. My grandma also used it to email my mom's 10 brothers and sisters to let them know what was going with the surgery. I didn't know about MyLot then, otherwise I would have used it to keep entertained for a while.

It did. I like that hospitals put the computers in there, so you don't have to go all the way outside to call someone, instead you can email or instant message them. Plus if you email, you can send multiple emails at once, so it saves a bit of call-time.

No, I used free wi-fi before and the computers at a library or apartment office but never a hospital.

nope I don't go to the hospital very often, so I don't even know if they have any where I live.

No, I have never used a courtesy computer at a hospital. I didn't even know they were available! That is a great idea for a hospital to provide computers. There is often nothing for people to do at a hospital, while they wait for the outcome of their relations surgery. This gives them something to do and helps take their mind off what is happening at the moment. I hope I never have to go to the hospital again, but if I do, I will try to find a courtesy computer.
