What is everybody having for dinner tonight? |
| |
| Me and my family are having lentil stew, which is so healthy and delicious. My mom is going to make up some fresh biscuits to go with it, and I am going to make a fresh green salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, carrot, sesame seed, and marinated artichoke hearts. Just thinking of it makes my mouth water. What about all of you, what will you be feasting on tonight? | | | | | |

| | I don't know what I'll have yet. My mom's workin extra late this whole week, and I have a evening class to go to today, so the family will probably have leftover pasta or some frozen food at their leisure. | | | | | | |

| | Ahh sounds like when my parents have to work. It's fend for yourself, not like none of us can take care of ourselves. It's just nicer when we're all together. | | | |

| | Haha lentils are the substitute for meat tonight. It was delicious I might add. You should try them sometime, there really good for you! Your a meat guy eh, well I understand. Guys can't seem to get enough of it. That sirloin burger sounds awfully tempting but to me it just looks like a pile of calories I will have to burn off. | | | |

| | Don't you get weak when you don't eat meat? I feel like I don't have any energy if I don't eat meat. Or is it just me? | | | |

| | Well meat is just a protein. You get energy from carbohydrates. How do you think vegans survive? You can substitute other foods in for meat like tofu. | | | |

| | I have tried fried tofu. It was better than what I thought the taste would be. So is that what you eat to maintain your bod? I do have an acquaintance who's vegan. I don't see her a lot, but last I heard she got off work because she got hit by someone opening a door at work. The talk was she was so weak. You mentioned that you work out a lot, you don't get that weak, do you? | | | |

| | I am not a vegan actually. I don't have the willpower to not eat meat. I like to eat a lot, in moderation though. I will have a steak once in awhile. Usually though I like to stick my leaner meats like venison, bison, and chicken. I don't feel weak ever. I work out as a way to build up strength. I am very strong for my size, you would be surprised. Working out gives you larger amounts of energy also, so I use food as a fuel to burn off with excercise. I feel great all of the time. | | | |

| | I really love eating salad with lettuce. Lettuce here in my place is quite expensive. So I only have them on special occasions. And oh it is already morning here in my place. And as usual I have my fried egg and fish this morning with a cup of coffee. Well, happy eating. | | | | | | |

| | I am with you on the coffee, that is a must! I love salad. That is too bad it costs so much. We grow ours in our garden so it's free! | | | |

| | Wow I wish I can have lettuce in my garden too but it is way too hot here in my place, I don't think it will grow well. | | | |

| | Have you considered making an garden with different ecological things, like mulching. Or else you could try a temperature controlled green house. | | | |
