Do you think if you can survive on an isolated island?

Recently, I have watched LOST all season 1 - 5, it is a very interesting story talking about a bunch of people got lost on the island after the plane crash, each of them has their own personality and showed how they fought to survive. Some people just wait for rescue; some people will go kill boar, catch fish to eat, some people will lose hope all the way because she was dying anyway before she came here etc. I sometimes wonder which character I would be like in the show if I encountered the same problem. I think I would try my best to survive still, look for food and full of hope of getting rescue will be me, I don't think I would want to be living on the island forever.
Have you ever watched LOST?
So what do you think about this?

Oh my gosh. I would probably NOT be able to survive on a deserted island like the one in question on LOST. I suppose it would take some adjustment if I did. I'm totally adapted to the lifestyle I live now, I couldn't imagine changing it - even in order to survive. Plus, I'm a vegetarian, and I don't know if I'd eat meat..Even if it were the only option available to me. *shrugs*. I've seen the show Lost a few times, and I do have the seasons on DVD, so maybe I'll catch up on that..Sometime during my "down time", that is.

IT would be shocked if it happened to me but somehow I wouild try my best to survive so I could have a chance to go bqck to where I live :-)

To your first question: I did, but no longer do as I found the plot to be too...annoying.
To your second question: Yes. I could survive. My survival skills were already test during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina & Rita and those necessary for harvesting fresh water from thin air, etc. that were not tested, I am trained for. I took several survival classes because I used to travel to a variety of countries. Anytime you do anything but walk, one has to be prepared.

Dear friend,
Have you seen the movie Castawaya in which Tom Hawks gets isolated in an Island. There are also other stories like Robinson Cruso so on. But if I get isolated I may need fresh water, fresh air, good food, shelter and finally internet. May be I could survive, but being a social being I need society or people to socialise especailly my close people.Still I had heard of prisoners kept in isolated islands.
