Do they fly south for the winter?
It's the time of year when a lot of birds migrate to warmer regions for the winter. Do the birds that are around the rest of the year leave your area? or do you get a lot of "foreign" birds come to your area for the winter?
Where I live, I see A LOT of canadian geese and ducks. There are a couple nice big parks with ponds, and they usually hang around there, even if it snows or the ponds freeze over. There are some smaller birds that seem to stay around year-round, and I don't really notice if there are any kinds that leave for the winter.

Yes,there are various species. But I just know one that flies south--swallow.It's a typical migrant bird here.Because they only feed on insects, and they come back in spring and fly away in deep autumn.

I'm not really a bird lover so I couldnt tell. But what I know is we have birds here where I live. We have pigeons and brown birds (really dont know what their names are). Some of my neighbors even keep the pigeons as pets.

Some birds fly south TO here, ie Canada geese. I'm sure we also have birds from here that migrate south as well. I don't know what they are though.

Where I live there are different birds. The two most common species are Pitangus sulphuratus and Passer domesticus.
