Ugly Sweater Night at the Joe

I hope you guys get to see this game just for the contest they are running at the Joe tonight. There are some of the ugliest sweaters I have ever seen running around there tonight. Ozzie called them Bill Cosby sweaters. Not sure what the prize is, but I'm glad I don't have to judge.
The good news..it's the end of the first and we are up 1-0 on tampa bay.
What could be the worse news yet is Zetterberg was just helped down the tunnel after a shoulder on shoulder hit by Owen, open ice and so hard you could hear the collision..Sticks crossed it looked worse than it ends up being. The wings can't afford to lose one more.

If it is the contest for ugly sweaters, then the canucks' flying V jersey should be included. Have you seen those? They are hideous!
Anyway, I've been trying to stay away from hockey news, because I am still sulking at their loss to the ducks last night. I can't understand why they always, always lose to bottom-most teams (sorry, M). I think they were already so excited to play with Ovie, as the caps were already in town when they played the ducks.
Just, checked. I see that it was a 3-0 shutout against Tampa!

I thought about you when I saw your canucks had lost to the goon squad. Sorry about that, I was rooting for you.
Big Bert scored another one. Zetterberg never did come back, they are saying undisclosed upper body..which probably means he tore up the shoulder..again. I think this is the weekend we play Chicago bak to back..normally I would be really excited to see these games..7 of our best wings on he injured list takes away from that a little.
You're right they were some ugly ugly jersies!

Congrats on the win Jewels! We actually beat Dallas the other night. Play Florida back to back tonight and tomorrow. Its a great day when we beat anyone!! Go Canes!!

Hey canesfan..congrats to you, I hope your guys left them hurting, we play them tomorrow and it looks like we do it without Z. The papers around here are starting to call us the Grand Rapids Red Wings because we have so many griffins up here at the moment. We play Chicago Sunday and then again on Wednesday..we need sticks and everything else we own crossed for the next few games.

The Canucks V jersey was bad but it's beautiful compared to the early Montreal Canadiens jersey - the one that looked like a red white and blue prisoner-stripe jersey. They wore it once this year and gawd, it was awful.
