how does the payment work here?

Hello everyone. I am new here since yesterday. I understand this is a place to come and have fun- meet people-ask questions, help people by answering questions. Nobody should try to earn a living here. It's nice to earn a few cents while having fun is what this is all about. But, having said all of that, how does payment work here? I sent a few posts in yesterday, and i thought the earnings would be calculated in 24 hours. It's been 24 hours and i don't see one red penny. How many posts does one have to write to earn even a cent?

Yes, RisaAttrell, this is a good site for having fun, meeting people, from all over the world even, asking questions, and helping people by answering questions! And I hope you enjoy it as much as I have in the last 3yrs! for me the money is just extra ps-and thank you for the best response you gave me on that other post!
