How many licks does it take to get to the center of a LOLLIPOP?

I was wondering if any of you guys count on how many licks you do before you get to the center of your lollipop? Does it take you 1000 licks? hehehe

I only lick first the sides circling around then In the process that it so slow that I just make a large bite and then presto the center of the lollipop is already shown. No problem afterward then i just swallow it whole..I do not really count as I have no patience.. lol..

hi boyetski how much fun, great to have a few lAughs here. i would say with me it takes only about forty as then I get impatient and chomp down on the lollipop and crunch right into the center so I sort of cheat, he he he

Hehehe.. Yeah I will do the same. It's kinda tiring to lick all the way to the center of it. Hehehe. But maybe if you are just killing time. You might lick it thru hehe.

hi,i assume that it will take 197 times,am i right?And also it is depending upon the how efficiently one can lick and it may vary from 197 to 26...ha..ha..ha.. Have a nice time.

Because of the nature and shape of a lollipop you never can lick to the center. You can consume the entire thing by licking it but that is not your question.

I think lollipop is eaten by sucking and not licking. Dont you think? Ice cream in a cone is comsumed by licking instead.

Well, I'm not sure about lollipops...but as for Tootsie Pops, it takes 3 ;) Remember the old commercials with the kid and the owl? The kid asks the owl, who takes it and says "Let's see. One. Two. CRUNCH. Three. It takes Three." LOL

If you lick a standard size lollipop. And you have a standard size tounge not so small an not so big. Will it take your poor tounge 1000 licks to get to the center? hehehe
