Do you like to hit the snooze button?

Are you one of those who hits the snooze button 3 or 4 times, or do you tend to wake up and get out of bed right away? -- or does it all depend on the day and what's ahead?
Most of the time I must admit that I am known to hit snooze a few times. How about you?

Ha I have done that before as well. Sometimes I think I must hit the snooze when I am half asleep and not even recall! Then I wonder if my alarm went off or not.

We both tend to hit the snooze button. Especially if its cold or nasty out. That warm bed is sooooo nice. But like you, it really depends on what is planned for the day. Also, if it's really bad out we keep our dog in at night and we have to get up at a decent time to let her out.

Good point. We have to get up eventually to let our two dogs out as well.

I don't tend to hit the snooze button. When the thing goes off I am up. I set it for the time I need to set it for, and I know why i set it.
My husband is the opposite, and has thrown alarm clocks across the friggen bedroom, just to get a few more minutes of sleep.

I used to be. But then I started hitting snooze more than one time. And for some reason that made my alarm clock malfunction. So if I hit snooze more than once, it won't go off again. Which has resulted in me being late for some things. In general I don't set my alarm. Maybe it's from my college days when I would have 7am classes, but from then until this day I almost always wake up at 5am on the dot.

I slap the crap out of that thing. But, since I don't have to get up at a certain time or answer to an unqualified boss I can pretty much get up whenever I want. I mean, I do have responsibilities but they are ones I created so I'll have something to do. You should get one of those alarm clocks that jumps off the night stand and you have to go get it to turn it off.

I prefer to get up right away because I am always so slow at everything. I takes my so much time just to get dressed, ( I am disabled)

I am not a morning person at all. I am a night-owl, so it is hard for me to get up early to go to work. I have to do it almost every day, though, so I have to force myself to get out of bed. I do hit the snooze button at least a couple of times every morning. Sometimes, I am almost late for work because of it. I know this is something that I need to work on in my life. I do not like working in the evenings or at night, though, because I never see my wife if I do that. My wife leaves for work every morning at 4:30 A.M., so when I was working evening shifts, she was in bed before I get home from work, and she was up and gone by the time I got out of bed in the mornings. I would literally go from one Sunday to the next without seeing her at all, even though we live in the same house.

Hi, Bethany1202. No, I don't usually hit the snooze button. I will just let the alarm clock on my cell phone go off. I am still sound asleep and it is constantly beeping. I do snooze someone else's alarm clock though. If it is running, I will stop it from beeping. The noise can become very annoying. I have walked past an motel room last year and I heard the alarm clock going off. Someone whom stayed in that room must have set the alarm clock. And it was going off. It was like this for a couple of weeks. I was so surprised that the housekeepers did not hear it. I thought that they would turn the clock off. But they did not..

Hello my friend Bethany1202 Ji,
In my case it takes little time to make up my mind to get-up. If tea is provided, which my hubby only can do a faour for me. It always helps me in getting up. But my hubby gets up in one swin. He will leaveimmediately, whenever he wants.
May God bless You and have a great time.

I hit the snooze button like there is no tomorrow! I hate my alarm clock. I hit the snooze at least twice and if I knew i could hit it more times than that I would. I mean I haven't sleep well since my kids were born and just when I think I'm getting some good quality sleep that Alarm goes off.
There are some days that I do get right up and get my day going but if I can hit the snooze I will. the problem is that I Know I Can Hit the Snooze Button.

I tend to probably be one of the worst at doing this. I sometimes hit the the snooze for a few hours but eventually I get up. The good thing is that I don't do it on the days I have to go to work but on the other days I hit the snooze a million times.

I literally have to set my alarm clock for an hour or so earlier than I actually have to get up, because if I don't I will be late for school, or work.

Hi, bethany. I don't usually set the alarm on my phone on regular days. My body clock seems to have been set at almost the same time every morning. I wake up at about the same time, whether I sleep early or late at night. There are times that I use the alarm if I need to go out very early of the day to catch an early bus trip to the province or for a very early office activity, such as parades or out of town trips. Sometimes, I wake up before the alarm goes off ... must be because of so much thinking about it the night before that set off my body clock again.
