Inside your house what it the most....

For me, I think my 'most important decoration' would have to be the (real) birds nest and antique glass bird that I put in the top of the tree. That glass bird has been passed down for generations on the one side of my family. It's a German tradition to have a bird & nest in your Christmas tree, supposed to bring you luck in the coming year. The other one that I consider a 'must' is the Christmas tree skirt I made many years ago after my Dad and uncle passed away. I took all of their red, white, and green silk ties and turned them into a tree skirt. The large pointed edges make for an unusual tree skirt and everybody always comments on it. Nice too that most of the family members who remember them, also remember them wearing a specific tie during the holidays. Have a Merry Holiday arvintot!
