Non-truth Tellers! Have You a Way of Telling if a Person is Truthful??

What is your way of telling if a person is being truthful or not? Or do you accept most people as honest? If you find out they are untruthful what do you do then?

If you know someone well enough, usually we can tell when they are lying. Most of the times anyway i pretend to believe those lies especially when those are "white lies"...
The reaction really depend on the importance of the lie, if the person lied about something important i would probably confront that person and at least ask why they lied.

...Hi there ra1787, I think you are completely correct. Someone you knowe is going to behave differently if they are lying to you, especially I would think, if they are physically near you. Their body language will probably betray them. Most of the times I think, that if a friend of yours lies to you, if they are basically honest, it's because they don't want to hurt you or tell you something that they think is bad. It is a protection thing. I would rather they just tell me and get it over with. Finding out later would make me angry. Take care and thanks for taking the time to respond.
