Before Christmas (Deliver Please) !

I ordered this book online, it is being delivered by mail. I would really like for this book to get here before Christmas. It is now December 22, the mail hasn't come yet I am hoping this book will be in the mail today or in the next two delivery days.
Are you expecting a delivery before Christmas.?

Hi Chevee,
A friend of mine had posted a present for me, she post it about three months ago from Canada and I have still not recieve it yet and its nearly Christmas, it is very disappointing, lod knows when I will recieve it if at all.

Hi Chevee,
I have already enquired about but we can't do anything, its at their end and my friend has tried to find out what is going on as they have the reciept of sending the item but they were told they can't do anything about it either, it is somewhere in the system.

Hi Cobrateacher, Merry Christmas, I hope I don't be disappointed with this one. It really isn't a gift, it is a book I ordered for myself, I had to earn enough points to order this book that was the hold up. I just would like it before Christmas. It really isn't that important.

Hopefully you were able to get this book before Christmas like you were hoping. I know sometimes when you are really expecting something from somewhere the Waiting is the hardest thing for sure. This year I did order a couple of things in December but made sure and ordered them really early so I did not have to worry. But I did have one item that was almost late as well.

I was hoping for a gift card, from MyPoints, but I waited too long to order, I am sure. So I bought one, and will use the one in the mail for myself.

Yes, I am! It's nothing that will be disastrous if it doesn't get here by Christmas, though.
If that book you ordered is a Christmas gift, and it doesn't come in time, you could write a note saying that it will be coming and put the note in a card, then give that on Christmas day. I've done that before.
Actually, one year, I was making a knitted baby suit (I forgot what they're called, they have sleeves and a hood but no legs, they just zipper up the front) to give to a girl I knew for her baby shower. I was not finished in time so I put the unfinished project in a box and wrapped it, then told her I would need it back to finish it. She loved it as much as if it was already finished!
I'm also expecting a new netbook which should be coming any day now. My laptop is on it's last legs, although it's still usable. I mainly want something smaller and lighter so I ordered a netbook and am anxious to get it. But, with the massive snowstorm we just got, it might be delayed a few days.
I hope you get your book before Christmas! Is there any way you can track it? Usually, they give you a tracking number so you can know when it will be delivered.

Thanks, I will do that (tracking). Leave it up to Marti to send an unfinished gift with the promise of it being returned for the finishing. I never in a million years would have thought of that.
I would like another computer myself, but that is out of the question for me right now, I can't afford it. But I am not going to give up because I know God has and will provide for me. Not saying he will get me a computer, because there are other needs that I have that are more important.
By the way the book did noot make it today, maybe tomorrow, it isn't a gift for anyone else it is something I ordered for myself.

Yes, I am and I share your frustration! I'm expecting a book for a Christmas present I'm giving and I need it for Christmas Eve when we open our presents. I ordered it a couple of weeks ago and was told it shipped early last week. I have my fingers crossed that it makes it tomorrow or the next day.
