Feebay? Now thats funny! If other sites can charge low fees or NO fees, why cant Ebay? They are all using the same internet space? Like breathing air, Ebay charges for every breath.

Although I hate all the fees Ebay charges, they DO have the traffic. Everyone seems to overlook that fact. If you want to sell, have to go where the traffic is.

They've got an interesting description - sounds like they're trying to make buying and selling more comunal/social. It's definitly (afaik) an original idea to start an selling based social network - I was expecting this post to be about yet another ebay wanabee or classifieds site. It looks like they're putting a lot of time and effort into it to make sure they know exactly what they're doing before launching. I hope they're able to finally launch the site and it isn't just vapourware.

Jend80, WE will all see if indeed all the time and effort pays off on this new site. Although everyone hates all those fees on ebay, they still have loyal followers they just complain but never leave the site.

Hey ya'll! I'm Eric Rodriguez the founder of WeMungo.com, a friend of mine who is an avid web surfer had notified me about a few compelling blogs ran by our visitors involving our new upcoming site, i'd like to personally thank you all for the support. Jend80 hit it on a nail about what the WeMungo concept is all about. What we are trying to do is an industry first and has taken us 2 years to build the site, were currently in the homestretch now and I place my reputation in the web world that the site will be "DIFFERENT" than ebay/craigslist/amazon and well, to be honest...all other websites in that category! I promise fun and simplicity to your buying/selling/trading and since you'll be the one adding your very own friends the security of the site will be much more reliable than those I have named above. I love getting feedback and ideas so feel free to blow up my email (eric@wemungo.com) with what YOU as a user would like to see that you haven't seen from those companies as of yet! Excited to see all of you DUMPSTER DIVING onto my site soon! :D

Will have to check this one. Recently, I went back to ebay to list one item. I noticed that the first 5 items in a month can be listed for free. As I had 2 ebay IDs (to sell different things), does that mean I can list 10 things free in a month?

Sorry but I dont use ebay and dont know anything. I tried once before and way too complicated and could not get past the fee page and TOS. By the time I finished reading all those terms, my head hurt and I never looked back.

No, I never heard of Wemungo until now, but I will definitely check it out, since I like Ebay (I am not a seller though, I just buy stuff, but Wemungo will need buyers too, no?) and think it is good if there are more sites similar to Ebay out there. We all like different stuff, so it is good if there finally is a serious alternative!

I keep checking waiting for them to open. Ebay needs some good competition. Perhaps this will make them bring all those fees down. I will keep everyone updated on wemungo. Thanks for comment.
