So yesterday was the first day of the robinsons' members sale (robinsons is this large dept store, a bit like macy's).
I was rather miffed at the long queues, but decided to try my luck to see if i could use two vouchers instead of one. usually they only allow one $5 voucher per person, for purchases above $30.
but i was buying more than $60 worth of things, so i took a chance and asked if I could use both. i figured if she said no, i'd have to queue again to split my purchases up into two transactions. the nice cashier lady said yes! so pleased i was at scoring an additional $5 of discount on top of the 20% discounts (even on special buys), it made up for the long queue.
have you had a similar moment?

SO good and lucky for u huh!! haha =D
I guess it's due to the festive season, and thus everybody is more 'lenient' towards things.. hehe ^_^ and it never hurts to be flexible, esepcially when it can brighten up one's day?? and not to mention bringing about convenience to customers?? haha =D
Merry christmas!!

Yep. I was there at the sale as well. The cashiers were nice enough to split the purchases so that each receipt reflects the correct amount for the vouchers to be used.
Saved me some additional trips to the end of the queue for the purchases!
