Best of Decade Lists!!!!!!

I don't know why it bothers me, but do pet peeves have to be rational? I am seeing all these "Best of the Decade" lists in the paper and on television, recapping the past ten years. My irritation is that the first decade of the current millennium will not end till this time next year. You don't start a decade with a year that has a zero at the end, you complete one! There, I feel much better!
