We all know that be a beggar is not fun at all but still some of our experience with the beggar maybe fun to share with others.I remember that once I saw a beggar who looked like those who will only ask for money but never wants to work in a bus stop.I may be wrong but his behaviour and attitude has given such an impression to me anyway. The guy ask everybody in the bus stop for a quarter and he always ask like this: "Good day,sir (or Madem),can you spare 25 cents for me to buy a cup of coffee?"Finally he came to me and asked the same old question as he has already asked ten other people in the bus stop. And my responds was: " Can you spare 5 dollars for me to go for a movie?" You know what happen? He kept laugh and laugh and .....walk away.I think it was quite a funny experience. And I heard another funny story as well.Someone tried to buy a Macdonald hamburger set lunch and gave it to a beggar to express his care and compassion. But the responds from the beggar was so funny. The beggar said: " Oh, Macdonald again.....!"It was because almost everybody who wanted to help the beggar With Macdonald Hamburger almost everyday^_^ and What about your funny experience?

Hi, wildlittlefan! There is this man that is always at the DSS office and at the library. He will just sit and wait for many people to pass him and he would ask different people for money. I have given him money before. But, one time I was on the second floor and I watched him ask many different people that passed by him for money. Some people had money and some did not. It was kind of funny because it was like he was trying to get a certain amount of money from everyone. I think that he was trying to collect change. Every time that I see this man waiting around, I know that all he wants is money. It is a shame how he just sits and begs. I had some chewing gum and he even asked for a piece..

He would ask for a chewing gum?Ha ha ha,it is funny. What a guy?Yes,there aare full of scams in our society and sometimes it is so hard to tell whether it is real or not.But there are still some real people who needs help in this world and I think we still have to do something for these real beggars or needy people.Anyway, you gave because you have a mercyful heart and that is very important in our world today. We can't avoid all the scams if we really want to help the needy people but for sure we will be much careful when helping others after our experience of giving increase. That means we will still give ,but give it with wisdom.

This didn't happen to me personally, but my mother. She recently told me about a guy she would see about once a week at the gas station. When she would stop there to get gas before work in morning, there would be an apparently homeless man asking for change. She would sometimes give him any loose change that was in her pocket, or on occasion she would buy him a cup of coffee, or breakfast instead of giving him money. One day she saw this man, and simply asked him point blank, "In all seriousness how much money do you make standing out here day after day asking people for money?", and the man looked at her, smiled, and said "Well I make about 40 thousand a year".

Yes,your mom's experience is fun and real.Do you know that in my city we used to have some beggar earn more than a million a year but it was long time ago. There are some professional beggar and they really know how to beg for money.Anyway, there are actuaally some people who really need help ,so they beg for money. On the other hand, there are some many scams as well.Sometimes,we will be extremely alert on giving out money to help others.Too bad ,it will really affect on the income of the real beggars. And the best of all I think is "no beggar in the city and everybody can live well".

This is funny,ha ha...I think you will dress a little bit better than usual for your interview and that's what everybody would do.How can a beggar dress better than I am and still ask me for 1 dollar?I think if I were you I will probably ask him to give me a hundred dollar bill to buy a jacket or a jean better than what he was wearing and also consult him on the secret for successful begging tips since he looks so suceesful in his career.^_^

Oh yes, nobody wants to be taken advantage of being generous. There are tons of incidents happen like this everyday all around the world.Recently, the news in my city told us that,Sometimes, over 25-50% or more of our donation money may never go to those who we want to help.It may goes as a commission for the promoter and sales person who ask for donation(in a sense). It will definiately affect on those organization who really want that money for charity purpose. That's why I prefer to give it to the salvation army becayse they will use for the gosple work and mainly for the Social concerns in every aspects of life.Although you konw that some of the money will become the salary for the staffs, but I think it is reasonable since they need salary to support their family and keep working in a Christian social organization that really help people all over the world as well.

You may call it funny or whatever but this beggar came running to us all who were at the traffic signal weeping and sobbing saying that she had lost her husband and had no money for the final rites. We could see someone lying there on the roadside with cloth covered from head to toe! I felt sorry for her and gave her some alms but what do you think the next day also she comes but not at that particular singal but another one with the same sob story. Then it occurred to me that she was using this sob story which made a fool of me and countless others.
