I just saw this game 2 days ago!!!!!!!!!

For the first time since 1958 the wings have been shut out 5 times by the end of December. I cannot believe we lost 3-0 to the Hawks, again!! It was like watching us get beat by ourselves..the hawks are playing like wings. Mickey Redmond said we wold get no asterisk when this season goes in the books, no footnote to say how broken our guys were these games. He advised true wings fans would be fighting to defend their team and made sure we all knew how much everyone in hockey was enjoying what is going on with our team at the moment. Like the guys deserve it for playing so well for so many years. We play again Saturday night..filpula might be back by then..sticks crossed! I hope you saw your team play a better game than I got to see tonight canesfan?

I totally feel your deep pain. My heart is very heavy today. My boys lost 5-1 to Montreal. They had 3 goals before the 1st period ended. Coach even pulled Cam in the middle of the first and put Manny in. Montreal's power play is incredible. I think they are 2nd in the league. They have Markov back and he is incredible as well. My boys have lost all of their self-confidence. I think it is time to call in a sports psychologist. I would be happy to have that job every day. Have those one on one therapy sessions! :) OK. That is my dream hockey job! I confess! Ha!!

Hi jewels49. Sorry the wings lost. I wanted to post a discussion this morning about how the canucks was already in the top 8 in the west. Then I saw that the wings had a game against the hawks tonight, so I hesitated. Because if Detroit won, they would have overtaken the canucks for the last playoff spot. Although you lost, I think Dallas won. So now the canucks and the red wings are still off the playoff picture. It's gonna be a rough rest of the season. Specially for your guys. With or without the asterisk.
