I'm not a vegan and this has nothing to do with food...  

I don't really buy the specifically vegan shoes anymore. They're too expensive and the ones I've tried weren't even comfortable. I usually get shoes that are made of man made materials at cheaper shoe places (like Payless or Target). Or sometimes I'll get canvas shoes. With athletic shoes at least it isn't much of a problem anymore since there are so many non-leather shoes out there.

Personally, even though I'm vegan and I don't wear leather, I'm starting to wonder about that a bit. Because I have one friend who eats meat and has no problem with that, but always makes a big stink in stores about how she wants some shoe but it is leather. If people didn't eat meat, I'm thinking there would be a lot more leather alternatives. Because leather is more of a byproduct of the meat industry. I still don't wear it myself, but I kind of think about that now. Although, there are still plenty of non-leather shoes out there that you should be able to find something. You can even try eBay as I've found a few there. But I've found that if you want "vegan" on the label you will pay more for the same quality.

Vegan footwear?? Is there such a thing?? hehe ^_^ I'm suprised if there's really such a footwear!!

BUt why are u so extreme?? Being vegetarian is more than good enough, though not as healthy.. BUt to the extend of vegan footwear just to complement your eating habits??

Then, are u wearing vegan clothings as well??

I have a few pairs of Free Ranger shoes. They are made by a company in Northumberland in the UK. They cost quite a lot but are incredibly comfortable. They make their shoes from a material called lorica. Their shoes can be bought on-line and a customer can even send them a foot plan. I have seen a firm called Green Shoes. I would like to get some of those but they are even more pricey than Free Rangers. I am a vegan and would only ever wear vegan shoes. When I was vegetarian I bought my shoes from Vegetarian Shoes, a firm in Brighton in the UK. Good luck choosing some new shoes that are vegan.

Well,in case of foods,I am fond of vegan meals. But I cannot prepare this stuffs at home,even though I have recipes. But sometimes I taste this dishes when I am in restaurants.Some of my favourite dishes are Chicken( may be fake,but it said so) and sundried Tomato Sandwiches with Fresh Pesto Basil and Soba Noodles with Peanut Sauce...
I don't know much about vegan foot wear.You may search it in Internet.
