Are you Going to Buy Yourself the Thing You wanted Most but didn't Get?

I was going to go by myself a laptop because my parent's didn't buy one for me, but then they got a used one from our neighbor. He's supposed to show up at some point tonight. I don't know when and it's already 5:30pm. I'm happy that I'll be getting this laptop because I don't have to spend money on it. And I can keep that money to go to D.C. in the spring twice. Once for a conference and once for ADAPT. What about you? Are you going to buy yourself what Santa didn't bring?

My family can not afford to buy me what I really need, so yes I will be getting my own gift. It will take a little bit to save for, but I am one determined lady. It hasn't brought me down yet and I refuse to let it. I will get what I need/want within the next 14 months.

You are coming to D.C.?In the Spring? That is the best time to come here! I'm sorry I got excited. I hope you get to come . Anyway I havea birthday in January and I might treat myself to the Johnny Mercer CD I didn't get.

My husband and I are eventually going to buy what santa didn't get us. We'll gradually get the items I guess, but realistically I think we're already running out of space for them. We live with his parents so don't have all that much space, but we're making due until we can save for our own place. Glad you're going to get that laptop, hope you already have! It's nice to get things that you really wanted, and after Christmas it's like an extra gift. Be careful with used, my husband and I bought a used laptop from a friend, and went to update windows, well it came up as if the copy was illegal, we didn't get it fixed but the laptop eventually broke.
