I got scratch-offs for Christmas for my dad..What a surprise!

I love getting scratch offs for Christmas. I actually like getting these a lot, although this year I didn't win anything. This is my dad's way of saying "Merry Christmas", by buying me 20 holiday scratch offs. LOL. Parents can be so unoriginal at times, can't they? But I like getting them. It's a change from the ordinary. Plus, it didn't hurt that LAST year I won $100 off of them. Oh well, you can't win all the time!
Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone else ever gets these - or GIVES these around the Christmas time?

Oh, I was confused by your title. Hehehe. I was wondering WHO got the gift FOR whom. So, you GOT the tickets FROM your dad. 
. Anyhow, my parents wouldn't do that for me because they know I don't like to do the Lotto, but they have given me before as my birthday gift. They gave me five dollars in tickets, along with some other gifts.
We used to get grandpa some of those scratch offs, he loved them. You are right, sometimes you win sometimes you don't. It's nice to win though. I don't think anyone in our family got sratch offs though.
