My favorite movie that I have seen in 2009 was Couple's Retreat. It showed four different couples going on a vacation to a tropical island. They worked out how great each couple were together. I liked seeing it at the movies so much I will buy a copy of it when it comes out on DVD. Which has been your favorite movie in 2009? What was in it that you enjoyed? Will you buy it when it comes out on DVD?

That's a good question- I though there were A LOT of good movies this year. I really liked I Love You Man, Coraline, New Moon, Princess and the Frog, and Up. But I'll say my favorite was Inglorious Basterds- the story and the way it was told was fantastic and there was some amazing acting in it.

I really wanted to see that film and yet never got around to it - with a recommedndation though I will probably watch it at some point and if I ever see the DVD cheap enough I will probably just buy it! It looked funny on the trailers and had many actors/actresses in it that I am fond of watching!

I liked that one too. Not sure I had a favorite movie this year, maybe Star Trek...

The year 2009 was a good year for the movies. Though I have not seen many movies but among them Coraline was the great one. I liked the concept of the story and above all the animations were simply amazing. I am looking forward to watch Inglorious movie because its been recommended by many of my buddies.

I really loved The ugly truth with Kathrine Hiegel. Apparently everyone else did too because they were sold out everywhere santa looked....

That got really bad reviews, and was listed as one of the top ten movie bombs of this year. But it couldn't have been that bad. Why do you think it did so poorly after its opening weekend? I usually like Katherine Heigl movies.

Hi maximax8! I just been watching Avatar in the movies last sunday. I love sci-fi movies and this one I saw was the best in 2009. My family and I really enjoyed the film. For us, it was really worth to watch. I would definitely buy it when I comes out on DVD. I had collections of great movies that I watched, and I'll add Avatar there. Have a nice day!

I only went to see one movie in an actual theater this year, and that was Zombieland. It was supposed to be horror/comedy, but to me is was pure comedy. It wasn't scary, although there was some gore. But it was funny more than anything. It was the kind of movie I'd see once, but never again. I did however just rent Julie & Julia, and it came out earlier this year. That was a good movie. I don't think I'd buy it, but I'd definitely recommend it to others. I've already told my parents and sister they need to rent it.
