The Convenience of Being Harry Potter

If you've read 3 or 4 books of the Harry Potter series or even watched the movies, then you will probably know what I'm talking about. Isn't it convenient how everytime Harry Potter has to face a problem, a monster, or a given challenge, the answer was always given to him on a previous class that they just happen to study. It's like "Oooh a monster, wait I learned this in class.." I first thought that the author was so brilliant that she was able to connect this little bits of information throughout the story. You're not a good wizard Harry, you're just lucky to be at the right place at the right time.

You may be right if it is Harry but when it comes to Hermione all the spells she used is read from books that they haven't discussed yet. And of course harry is good in dark arts that is why he remembered most of the spells that has something to do with Voldemort.

Not quite true - the first time he ran into Dementors, in the Prisoner of Azkaban, he had no idea how to fight them, he had to be taught, and it wasn't an easy lesson to learn.

I never thought of that, but it does seems to be the case. What I find funny is that just about every one of the movie versions have what I like to call "The famous Harry Potter fainting scene". I do have to admire Rowlings for coming up with Harry Potter. I just wish the writing was better.
