What's the reward that you have given yourself lately?

I have been working hard lately and supporting my family with my salary. This has been going on for more than a month. I'm so fortunate that my last salary had no deductions and there's even some tax refund. Since there's surplus money for me, I rewarded myself with fine dining and hair treatment. It feels good to splurge for myself for a change. What about you, have you been good to yourself lately? What have you given yourself as a reward for being good? :-)

I will reward myself with a great buffet after I have worked hard on something.Or sometimes I will reward myself with someother food that I like.I am not too materistic but I like to eat and taste different kinds of food.Even when I am unhappy on something,I will chose eating to help my feeling a bit.It may not be the best way and it really cost money as well.It made me more unhealthy when I have such a bad habit but since I can't think of anything else that I can use to reward myself for the time being,I have to stick with this one at least for awhile.

Hi there. We are alike in some ways. I also like trying out new foods or restaurants every once in a while, as a reward for myself. Thanks for sharing.

For being good this year, I rewarded myself by opening up a savings account. I don't like spending much and this account will be just for me. Not for the family, but just for me if I want to buy something in the future. This way I don't feel guilty if I have to spend something for myself.

That's a good reward for yourself. I also opened an account where I can save for the rainy days. Thanks for sharing.

To be honest, I haven't had the opportunity yet to reward myself for my hard work this year. With all the expenses brought about by the holidays and gift-giving to my parents, I haven't had the luxury yet to splurge for myself. I told myself that since this is my first Christmas as a professional, I will be very generous to my parents in terms of the gift I gave them this Christmas. It was very rewarding and heartwarming to see their shocked but happy reactions when they found out what I have given them. Once I have already recovered from the expenses from the Christmas holidays, that's the time I'll really splurge for myself. I plan on buying myself a new cellphone and hopefully, upgrading my wardrobe.
