I think I was about 10 years old when I saw a movie about a trip to the moon and I was in love. As I grew reality forced it's way in and I knew I just wasn't made to go in space. But since my Hubby worked many years on the space projects for NASA we wwere always able to stay up to date on what was going on. Maybe you will get your dream.

Possibly getting out in space may save us as a species, I don't know. As for me personally getting out into space, nuh uh. I get carsick. And I hear space sickness is 10 times worse! I think it's great that we're out there though.

I think everyone has thought about going to space at some time on another in their lives. Just imagineing the possibility of what's out there is something we humans have done for centuries. Until recently there was no chance of this happening for the average person, but even that is changing. The private sector, led by Virgin Galactic has already completed a few proto types and tested planes that will start taking people into space very soon. Right now it is very expensive, (about 200000 USD) per person, but over time costs will come down and it will slowly become more affordable. It will be several years before the average person can afford it, but if your young enough, sometime in the next 10-15 years, you could be taking a vacation in space.
