Dieting is not fun

Is is much harder to actually stick to the New Year's diet than making the commitment? Food seems to look better, smell better and of course taste better if it is not on your approved list to eat. Is anyone else tempted to give up so early?

teamrose the secret is to make a lifestyle change not a damned diet, you will still cut back some on calories but you will eat the proper amounts of all the things you like so you do not feel deprived, but instead of two cups of peanuts at a setting, you would eat one handful, instead of two cups of your favorite ice cream one half cup, and count calories but do not go below fifteen hundred as you must exercise along with the life style plan .you will lose weight gradually and you will first eat the most healthy foods, veggies and fruit, lean meat, lo fat cheese and milk and whole grains and in the proper amounts. then you will have some free calories and give yourself a small serving of whatever you yearn for, so you do not crave anything. every pound you lose will remind you of what is the most important. I plan on following this as I know its right for a diabetic like myself and it works.
