3D televisions  

I think 3D is a gimmick. I don't like 3D movies, I think the movements are very unnatural and that the technology isn't far enough along for people to be making a big deal out of it. So no, I will not be buying a 3D Tv. I haven't heard much about it, so I don't know if you would need to wear the glasses all the time to be able to make out all the images on the TV.

The technology for 3D TV has been slowly progressing for the last few years, and it is a very real step forwards in the Television viewing experience that you will see appearing in stores worldwide as early as next year. Right now the technology is very expensive, and few will be able to afford it. But, like anything else as it becomes more popular, and the technology grows, costs will come down. It will probably be 5 to 10 years before the average person can afford it, but it is definitely coming. By the way with the current technology that is coming out of the Consumer Electronics Show this year, and as we speak, it is now possible to view a 3D image without the need for glasses. It is possible because of the way the screen is made. They haven't entirely perfected it, but it has gotten to the point where it is a viable product that can be sold to the general public. The real question is will they buy it. There are alot of amazing products out there that haven't got the audience to mass produce them, because people haven't yet found a real need to justify purchasing them yet.

I would not want to buy this kind of set. I am not all that fond of 3d as it is. Then to have to buy a separate t.v just for that. No it would not be the right thing for me.

I think that if they do come out which im sure will happen in a couple of years, they will be very expensive like you said. But the price will slowly descend which always happens with time. And I think that you can also watch the tv normaly without the glasses.

hey thats something new.. well lets see how it goes... from now we can tell nothing about any new technology... if it will get success then i will surely think about it.

3D TV or movies is a picture that makes me dizzy, I seem likely to be round and round in the picture. 3D is making the picture more lively and we seemed to take an object. I'm not going to buy this product, because the price is too expensive and better I used to watch normal TV.
