Do you feel safe about online banking!  

I have never trusted online banking and I dont use the online service our bank offers.
I feel worried by all the hacking stories as well.

I always check and not arbitrary in accessing online banking, I always clean the password and my user id also the cookies if I use it in other places. for using online banking seem I rarely and only check my balance, also not to conduct transactions.

I'm actually cautious and a bit scared of any online banking transactions. Last week, I paid online using my credit card, I got paranoid and so worried because after i have entered my security pin the page crashed and I can't retrieve it. I checked my credit card balance and last transaction through phone and was informed that everything is okay. But it made so scared and paranoid...as much as possible I don't purchase online.

Online banking is awesome enormously popular way of doing anything with money.We can do almost everything sitting home.
But when you talk about safety then it comes mostly to your computer or where ever you use it.

Most of the peoples have been using the online banking and also it has
more advantages and disadvantages, so we must take more care especially
while doing the online transaction . So making the online transaction
would be very risky because of the hackers in the net, and they are trying
their best to recover the password from the site which is belongs to the banks
or somethings private and would try to take or consume lots of money from
our credit card, so better to more cautious especially while online banking.

There is nothing to be afraid of. You just have to start it. It's very easy I use Citi online backing (probably the best GUI on their website). That account is connected to my 5 credit cards (to pay my credit card bills) and my paypal account. You can use paypal to shop safely online, places like ebay (to save lot of money).

FYI. You don't need any internet security programs. I have never used any. Just use your common sense when you are opening an email or visiting some sites.

hey friend.. i am using online banking since 2 years.. it is bit risky. but if you handle it with carefully then it is very helpful facility.. Just keep in mind that the computer which you are using for it should be your personal and safe.. Safe means out of virus... if you will login in you online banking from unsafe computer means from cyber cafe or any other public place then it can be dangerous for your account.. So if you are going for netbanking some caution you must follow ... Use your own computer for it... It is the must.

acismarje I have banked on line for years and its super safe it you have a reputable bank like Bank of America. the site has a lock and key symbol inthe lower left hand side of the page, as long as you bank on line with a b ank that has this protection
you are really safe. I have never had the slightest problem and never will with B of A. You must always see the key and lock in the lower left hand corner of the page. this is a safe site always.

Not sure how its UK banks , but the banks here have hack free services and they have an alert security system . ( I do not have courage to post any link though) . I use internet banking very often and find it very helpful . I never had any trouble with it . But once , my bank service disapproved my request to pay to a site which I am still not sure why . Anyways its really a safe and cool way to spend your money online !
