What are your favorite bands? |
| |
| And what is your favorite type of music. I am absolutly amazed by the band RED. I think everyone should look them up if you like rock music. They are a christian band, but I like to look past religion in bands in general. The lyrics are so amazing. I also enjoy pink floyd, The Beatles. What can I say, I loooooovee my music? What about everyone else here? Do you believe that music has the power to change the way people feel about things, even possibly moods? | | | | | |

| | The best bands out there now are bands like Blink-182, Brand New, Weezer, Sum 41, and if you want to slow it down Death Cab For Cutie. However, I am also a big fan of old bands like the Beatles. | | | | | | |

| | Haha well you should get on listening to Death Cab. They are one of the best bands to listen to when you are in a bad mood because of their mellow sound. In the same way Blink 182 has an upbeat sound with simple stupid lyrics that would put anyone in a good mood. | | | |

| | Yes. I do believe that music has the power to change the way people feel about things and even moods. I also like The Beatles. Their music really soothes mind when one is gloomy. I also love the music pink floyd for their expectacular music that goe along with my mood. | | | | | | |

| | of course it changes your mood if it has an upbeat easy going flow it will probably make you feel really relaxed and one of my favorite bands right now is either sublime or slightly stoopid(yes that's how they spell it) | | | | | | |

| | I love music as well, and saw RED last summer, they played in Towson, MD with Cavo and Framing Hanley. I went beacause my daughter wanted to see Framing Hanley, and I am so glad I did. I had never even heard of any of the bands before, although I did recognize some of the songs. RED was fantastic ! My favorite bands are Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Godsmack.... the list goes on and on. I love blues music and motown, I love funk and even some opera, especially Pavoratti. I wish I had been able to see him perform. Music can absolutely change the moods of people and the way the think as well, sometimes the words of a song can make people see things from a different light, enabling them to understand the 'other side of the coin' Proof positive...ME, I can always get in a better mood by listening to music. ROCK ON !!! | | | | | | |

| | Red is a pretty solid band, if you like their sound you should check out a band called breaking benjamin. They have a very similer sound and they are very good. | | | |

| | Another band I really like are Pearl Jam, can't believe I missed them out first time round. Eddie Vedder is a great frontman and Mike McCready is one of the best guitarists over the past 15 years or so. | | | | | | |
