i was really suprised to see george bush, president obama and bill clinton standing on the same podium and uniting to stand with haiti in its period of disaster, i do believe that political differences should not hinder our leaders from doing the right thing, wether republican or democrat

I dont think you must be surprised. Of course presidents belong to different political parties but the disaster in haiti is a cause beyond any political ideas - people died there so it is not time for someone to emphasize his political belonging in such moment.

How short your memory. It was President George W Bush who first asked Former Presidents Bush and Clinton to head the effort to raise money for the Tsunami Victims.
