We are all aiming to save cost from our daily expenses. I would do the same too. I have look all over my past activities, and compare it to my bank account balance. I should cut back many unnecessary expenses. For instance, I shouldn't dine out that much, since it is more economic that you can learn to cook at home. Ever since the recession, I already cut back my dining out activities significantly. I only dining out on special occasion, or with my friend's insistent invitation.
How about your guys, do you also attempt to cut back your dining out activities?

Never really did eat out. Only on the very rare occasions and that was once a year, maybe. It really is not a necessary expense. Not only do you have to pay for a meal that is much cheaper to cook at home but there is also the transportation. So that's two costs that can be saved on when you eliminate eating out.

Yes, I and my wife don't like to eat outside very much, except for some special occasions with friends. We would grab some street food if don't feel like to cook at home, which is quite simple and cheap. Because I have to prepare the work launch for the working days, so I always try to make some foods at home.

hi! except for pizza and anything baked, i get the best meals at home. i don't frequent restaurants unless necessary (like when i'm on travel) or special occasions. my big family enjoys food a lot and more so when we are together. it's a bit expensive really if we dine out often. and we just love hanging out over meals... a simple fare can be a four-hour lunch when we enjoyed ourselves at home. we can't do that in some restaurants. besides, for a fraction of the cost... meals at home can be so much fun and economical. what we haved saved, we can use to other stuff just as important. it has been our practice ever since.
coming from a big family, we cut back on unnecessary expenses or stuff we can do without so that we get to buy other stuff we need or have something for other leisure activities.
