I am working on my thesis so I almost have no sleep these days, and I noticed some swelling and hurting spots on my face, pimples! wahhh!! This is bad, really bad. I would finish my thesis but would look horrible on my defense! really bad.

The way my skin works is pretty abnormal I usually get pimples during two occasions. First if I sleep regularly then all of a sudden one day I lack some sleep, for sure I would be having a pimple or two. Second is if I regularly lack sleep and all of the sudden one day I get to have a complete rest, pimple would surely appear in the morning. It's really crazy why would one get a pimple when he/she had a very good rest It's really not normal but I'm experiencing it

Maybe your skin is enhanced by some sort of alien technology hahaha, just kidding, you should negotiate with your skin, so it would cooperate hehe.

When I was still on my teenage years, I used to acquire pimples when I had some sleepless nights or when I lacked sleep. I guess that was just normal for me to experience such thing. I understand your case too. Maybe you are now very conscious with your looks because like you, I also felt bad before when I had pimples on my face. It lowered down the level of my confidence. But of course, I just didn't allow those pimples to stay on my face without doing something to get rid of it. I bought a lot of ointments to treat and somehow, minimize its appearance. Maybe you can do such thing too if you don't want to look at your face in front of the mirror with all those visible pimples.

Rarely it happen to me as most of the times i still have other offline activities to reckon with and their times i get large pimples on my back. So staying late at night may be one of the factors though i given more value to cleanliness, as when the surrounding is clean and you always wash your face then it is unlikely you get pimples..

lol! prolly has much more to do with stress and and not enough water then it does with lack of sleep. if are working at a compuer your prolly touching your face alot too, rubbing the sleep resting on your hand. all no nos to keeping skin clear. wash your face regularly and lotion, drink a cup of water everytime you go pee and STOP touching you face. lol. good post!

Very nice advice hehe, I am working infront of the computer, doing 3D buildings and stuff hehe. Thanks, I'll keep the water thing, and the not touching the face factor into mind.

Just ace your thesis. Pimples will eventually disappear just as long as you don't irritate them or squeeze them. Once you have enough rest (for couple of days to weeks), you'll be back to normal. If not, then go to a dermatologist.
