do you ignore friend invitations in facebook  

Nope, if I haven't ever had contact with you, then I won't accept your friendship request.

I don't play any of the games there, so there is no reason for me to accept requests from strangers.

well, i am like your cousin before! haha but i don't have thousand of friends, i think i just have more that 200 but less than 300. and just like your cousin i just add people just to have neighbors in my games...actually i met most of them on games.

but right now, i am no longer adding friends that i do not know. but i also don't ignore people, i just don't accept & don't ignore! lol! right now i do have 6 pending requests and still thinking if im gonna accept or not.
i also accept people that i know even if i am not that close to them, like those of my batch mates in school...

Before, I used to accept any friend request that I have on facebook. But lately, I really don't accept any friend request especially if I don't know the person sending it. If I know them, yes I may accept their invitation but if we are not close, ummmm? I will definitely think about it first. As much as possible I want my real friends in facebook.

You know what I have two different accounts on Facebook.. one is only for my close circle of friends/ acquaintances and the other is for game purposes.. I'm a person who both wanted to keep my personal life but would have wanted to know other cultures as well. :(

i believe that was the reason why i just got tired of Facebook.. probably because of its friend suggestions. I just got tired accepting new friend requests whom i don't really know personally.. and it's somewhat depressing to see your facebook friends who are strangers in real life after all. :( plus i don't want to expose my private life to others..

maybe i would have wanted for us to be friends first before he becomes my facebook friend.. facebook exposes a lot about yourself and i honestly don't want others, especially strangers stepping so much into my private life..

plus i got tired with all the facebook games.. interactive as it may be, i just don't like the fact being always responsible for your facebook game characters as if it's really your duty to update them from time to time. :(

however, twitter worked better for me.. and fits more my personality.. but that's a different story ;D

No I don't ignore/reject any friends invitation. I accept/approve all friends requests.

In accordance with your cousin, I know some people that accepts almost all friend request just to increase 'friend'. So I notice that he/she now has lots of friend list even if he/she goes college far behind me. This simply not rational, because the higher people attending education, the higher the possibilities to get new mates on reality.
I have done some minor research that surrounding me, if someone is still in college, with friend list more than five hundreds people, the known people from that list is about one-third.
I myself don't receive much invitation back then, until my girlfriend told me to change my profile picture. At that time, my profile picture is nothing but something like graffity. So, no one will know me when they see my profile picture. And then I changed it. And it's proven. Everyone starts inviting me, although I'm not like other person which has an average 10 people request per day.
I realize I haven't maximize my friend out there, but friend list amount up to three hundreds is rational.
I don't often accept people I don't know, because I have encountered people with bad attitude if we don't them. According to me, this is simply just a way to communicate between known friends which separated by far.

The first thing I will do is: If I know the person, I will accept the frind invitation, but if I don't know the person I will ignore it.

I have two facebook accounts, a special one for gaming and one for friends and relatives that I know.

I usually accept all friend request..The requests I used to get is mainly friends of friends for Mafia Wars game as I am a very active player in Mafia Wars..
I accept them right away if there is mutual friends for the requesting person or if they states they are requesting for Mafia wars in personal message..I have close to 700 friend now i think..

No, if I don't really know who's inviting, I don't accept and just ignor the friendship. I don't play any game in facebook so I don't mind it at all.
