| |  if you add comments in responses you received in discussions you started, it can help you increase earnings.
if you respond to other's discussions and you exchanged posts in the same thread, you can also earn more. you can also comment on posts made by others.
posting in the same discussion twice... you mean double posting or 2 different posts in the same discussion? double posting is you mistakenly posted the same response in a discussion twice. one of your posts will be reported and deleted, if that is the case, then yes you won't get paid for it.

| |  I see many members have answered your question. Remember you get paid of "participating", not for the number of posts. So participate a lot. Make sure each of your posts consist of 3 to 5 complete sentences minimum. You want to post quality as opposed to quantity. Read the rules and the guidelines also.
Each day you will learn a little more and hopefully, you will make a lot of friends along the way. Decorate your profile page and create an avatar. People will learn to recognize your avatar.
