Oh that's really making me feel old. I remember being in high school during the time of the "British Invasion." Our parents thought that the Beatles had such long hair! Almost amazing. When I look back at old pictures, they look so clean cut. Every girl was in love with one or the other of the Beatles. I was in love with Paul and went into mourning for at least a month when he married Linda. My BFF was in love with George. All of the pictures that you young folks see of girls screaming at the sight of the Fab Four is absolutely 100% true. We were mesmerized!

I alawys wondering if those screaming girls were really were they say the Beatles! Now I know it was real! I was only 2 when the Beatle Invasion began. My memories of the Fab 4 were when they broke up in the 1970's and all went their seperate ways! My older brother is a big Beatle fan. I remember he had all their albums,on vinly, when I was growing up! The Beatles were one of a kind!

It's so funny that you say that about the girls screaming. I work with two girls in their early twenties and they were both under the impression that was all staged. It was absolutely real and a scene that you saw every place that the Beatles went. I cooked up a scheme to try to steal one of their bedsheets from the hotel that they were staying in when they came to our city. At the last minute I lost my nerve and my friends were so disappointed in me! When you spoke about the vinyl records, the memories came flooding back,

Ringo does look terrific. I can remember when the Beatles first appeared on Ed Sullivan show. My heart still sees them as the Fab Four, turning America upside down with the British Invasion. My heart is still young and I still love rock music the best. I guess if I just turned 60, it makes sense that Ringo is 70. Still hard to believe, though.
The hardest part for me is to hear the songs that I loved turned into background music for commercials, or even worse, elevator music! LOL

I think I was only 2 when the Beatle Invasion. I don't remember it! I most remeber the Beatles when they broke up in the !970's and allthe guys went their seperate ways. So much talent! The Beatles were incredible! I'm not to crazy hearing their songs on commercials!
