| |  I just bought a Garmin Nuvi GPS with the Nulink service. It was not cheap, but they had two years of free service that came with the phone and they are saying thereafter it will be only $5/month. I'm not sure I believe that but I think it will be affordable and the Nuvi 1690 is phenomenal. After having tested the Garmin service that came with my smart phone, I must say that I do not recommend using any smartphone for GPS, because a larger screen with spoken street names and juction assistance are just mandatory. I do not know how I lived without this thing.
GPS has finally gotten its act together.

Does this software include map from countries from Singapore and Malaysia? that is important as it is the places that I normally drive my car. However if I rent my car in the places that I visit, then it would be a great buy.
