Were the Saints and the Colts the two best teams or were they just lucky?

The Saints and the Colts were the two best teams although the Saints could have easily lost to the Vikings had not Brett Farve not thrown a ill advised pass when they were so close to having a chance to win. The Jets had a great year. Look for them to improve next year. But New England will start to drop off. And the Texans and the Titans will both make the playoffs. New orleans will continue to improve and begin a mini dynasty. Minnesota will continue to maintain strong even though Brett will finally retire. The Cowboys will look to a star other than Romo and Donovan will make his last stand.

Yeah...you know what, Sourceseeker? Favre DIDN'T think when he threw that pass, and the Saints capitalized. Don't hate the Saints because they took what Favre sent their way. He got his butt kicked by the Saints 'D,' lest we all forget.

...and I totally forgot I'd already responded to this discussion, so if the admins wouldn't mind deleting my second response, that would be great.

Luck had nothing to do with it, Sourceseeker. The reason that the Saints and the Colts ended up in the SuperBowl is because both of them are that good...the Saints were just better. Happy Who Datting!

Can't say that I disagree with anything you just stated Sourceseeker The Colts definitley deserved to be there...I believe the Saints may have gotten a bit lucky but after all they are derserving of this..since they don't have SB win yet. Plus...although both playoff games were good....The Saints played the hell out of theirs!! Just for that alone in my opinion they deserve to at least be in the SB.

Were you watching the same game? The Vikings game did not come down to the one play. Did you happen to miss all those fumbles?
