before you say it,i know it's gross, but i pick mine, the reason being is that i can't stand the dry skin left by my excema, and the excema makes my feet itch,so if i pick it,it stops itching,,do you pick yours and why

I suffer from psoriasis and that is also on my feet but i do not pick them as my feet are soo sore anyway. There is a cream that you can get that you apply to the feet that is supposed to help stop the itching, but it never worked for me.A friend of mine uses a foot spa and that is ok as long as you do not have painful feet and that gets rid of her dry skin as well as it relaxs her as she puts the massage setting on it.

I actually like a paraffin bath for my feet, or hands. I find it to moisturize.I have a foot spa as well, but I cannot use either at this time.

I don't have excema, but my little almost 5 year old daughter does. She has it in her elbows and behind her knees . . . the poor thing just can't stop itching. And what's worse is she has this habit of picking at her skin - we can't get her to stop! What are you using for excema that helps you? We're trying everything - seems like Aquaphor seems to help the best, but it seems like the skin eventually gets used to it and then we have to look for some other remedy.

I have a three inch long incision that is beginning to dry up. If it is uncovered I will probably pick it. It is drying up, which is a good thing. It got yucky last week. Normally, I just scrub my feet then moisturize them.

No I don't. I actually don't like my feet touched that much. The most I do to pick at my feet is cut my toe nails and I will sometimes soak and file down my heels because they tend to get a little rouch(which runs in my family) but even at those fews things I will not do it that much because I don't like having my toes touched that much...
