What’s the most expensive gift you’ve ever received from someone?  

All of my expensive gifts were from my childhood. Video gaming systems were a big deal to me as a young'un. I still play the occasional game now, but don't have any of the three major systems that are out right now. Surprised my folks didn't keep the price tags on the boxes.I have no idea how much money they spent overall just to appease my hunger for SEGA and Nintendo games. I live them to death for hooking me up with all that stuff during the winder holiday season.

4 yrs ago my husband gave me a Cartier watch for my birthday. I was so surprised cause I'm not the type of woman who wears expensive stuff but I could not say no to it either cause I didn't want to hurt his feelings. Last christmas he gave me a black leather jacket. I just wish he stops giving me expensive gifts cause it gives me pressure on what to give him in return...cause i'm cheap. lol

Nothing, expensive yet, but i have to decide what new laptop i want. TATA.

i enjoy giving gifts more than receiving them.
but the first thing that came to mind after reading your question is the diamond ring which my brother had given me the last time i went back to my homecountry last year. i was very surprised because i've never thought that someone could give me that. sure i wear it as a reminder of my brother's love. others might think it's an engagement ring but it's not. LOL!
i believe that the market value of gifts isn't everything but it is still the heart that gives.

the most expensive gift i receved was my laptop by my dad..and the other most expensive i received was my 15 birthday! (as i know, in usa makes a party when a girl has 16 years old, but here we celebrate 15 birthdays)..
thinking in important no money gifts i received were my 2 dogs! i love them!

The most expensive gift I have ever received from someone was the ten thousand pesos cash given to me by my cousin who went abroad. She sent me the money as a gift and as her contribution to my studies. She knew how hard it was to be in my situation when I was still a student. We were having a lot of financial problems in the past so she lent me her helping hand. It was a big amount of money for me and it was given to me by someone so I considered it as a gift.

The most expensive gift that I ever received was from my parents. When I was in my early twenties they helped me pay for a language course in Italy. It was pretty expensive, I was a student at that time and I wouldn't have been able to pay for the language course on my own. I was really grateful for the gift from my parents, because I learned a lot and I had a great time in Italy. Actually it became one of the the best periods of my life, and I will always remember the time that I spent there and the friends that I found.

Well at christmas my husband got me this netbook as i was saying it would be nice if i had my own pc as well as if i got a netbook we would all be able to go on the internet and would not have to wait ages for our turn.The year before he got me a ipod touch and that was an expensive gift as well.Where as all the other gifts that he has got me over the years have not been as expensive as well as i never used all the others.

besides my engagement ring, i think the most expensive stuff i have gotten was a necklace and earring set with diamonds and sapphires in it. i dont wear them that often, only when i get dressed up.

Hello healthbeauty! The most expensive gift I received for Christmas was a laptop. I remember before that Christmas that my mom asked me what I wanted, and I jokingly told her a laptop, while we were standing next to Best Buy. I really didn't think she would get me one, and I was so surprised when I opened the gift on that Christmas morning, that I sat there with a dum look on my face. I guess I just couldn't believe it! My mom remembere the gift I wanted, and that meant a lot to me, especially because the gift was from her.
