| Peyton Manning Did Not Shake Hands? | | | | Hi MyLot, I just read an article on the web that said Payton Manning didn't shake hands with the Saints after Sunday's Super Bowl game. The article writer didn't blame Manning for being a sore sport but instead made the point that the game is so competetive and that Manning wanted to win so badly that he just couldn't bring himself to congratulate his opponents. I don't know about that. I personally think it's right to shake hands and move on. What about you? What are your thoughts on this? Do you think that sports has become so competetive that winning is all that matters? | | | | | | | | | | Play Games and Win Money Pick Free Numbers for Daily Drawing to Win $1.25 Mil Sweepstakes lotto.PCH.COM

| | In all sportmanship, Peyton should've shook Brees hand. It is a sign of respect. That said, you could tell that Peyton was really craving this victory. When he was on the sideline, he looked so frustrated and anxious to get back on the field and make something happen. I'm not sure if his mind was on his possible raise or silencing his critics with this win, but he truly wanted it. I'm not defending his actions, but I can understand how you just want to walk away when something you wanted so bad slips out of your finger though you tried your best to grasp it. However, I do think sports is getting more competitive. | | | | | | | betlynfrnds (433)

| | Wow, yes, I agree with you. I also think that highly ranked athletes, like Manning, are always in the spotlight and are under soooooo much pressure to perform. They're just human. Sometimes the pressure gets the best of them. Thanks for your response. | | | | | | | Play Games and Win Money Pick Free Numbers for Daily Drawing to Win $1.25 Mil Sweepstakes lotto.PCH.COM | add comment | | | |

| | I was listening to the NFL radio on Tuesday, and they said that the NFL tells the losing team to get off the field after the game so that the audience will only see happy faces after the game. I can not tell you if this is what happened in this case, but Payton is a very good person from what I have seen, and I am sure that he would have no problem shaking anyone's hand. I just think it is writer making a store out to be more than it really is. The writer was probably bored, and had nothing else to write about. | | | | | | | betlynfrnds (433)

| | Thank you for responding. I agree, Peyton is a pretty classy guy and I do like him. What you said makes a lot of sense about only having the winning team on the field for the fans. | | | | | | | Free RPG -Adventure Quest Fight monsters with magic or might. 100’s of weapons, armors, and pets www.battleon.com | add comment | | | |
