|  The college season is only about a month and half over and the name you have heard the past few years still seems to be heard. That name is Tim Tebow the quarterback from the Florida Gators. While he was a gator his name was talked about more than almost any other college player and it was always about how good he was. Now its about how he isn't made for the nfl quarterback position. How can a scout say that? I know a few names off the top of my head that were said to be great players the first to come to mind was Ryan Leaf? They loved him and he ended up being terrible. There was also Emmit Smith that played for florida many years back and I heard and remember them saying he was to small to be a great back. Now he is joining the NFL Hall Of Fame with 3 Super Bowl rings, an NFL Mvp and a Superbowl Mvp. Which he is the only player to do that in the same season at that. So as draft day comes I believe he will be a good pick for many teams in need of a quarterback. So your asking why an average joe off the street and the nfl scouts aren't? This is why if you watch him play he plays with heart and dedication. He plays the game because he loves to play and if you look at his track record he wins games. Give him a good mentor and this man could be a game changer. I am not a Gator's fan and personally hated to hear about him but he is a great quarterback.

| |  tebow ran a gimmick offense in college; he really can't read defences all that well. during the senior bowl practices, he was lousy. I'll be surprised if he's picked higher than the 3rd round in the april nfl draft. he'll be a career backup at best.

| |  Don't get me wrong, Tim Tebow is an amazing quarterback. But look at the team he was on. If you put him on a different team that is not in the SEC i guarantee you that he would not have been able to put up those same numbers. The NFL is a lot different then college. He's now going to go up against much bigger people, more physical people and people that have been in the league for 12 plus years probably. Now I'm not saying he's going to be terrible but I just don't think he has the ability to be a great quarterback in the NFL. I think the only way he will be a really good qb is by learning how to throw the ball. Yeah he can run the ball but he probably wont be able to do that so good going against teams like the Steelers or the Patriots. Those teams have freak of natures on defense, all with amazing talent. But with all that said, I hope Tebow is gong to be a good quarterback in the NFL, it will definitely be fun to watch him at the next level.

| | Tim Tebow will be nothing but a situational QB in the NFL. He doesn't have an NFL caliber arm and like some of the other posters have said, he ran a "Mickey Mouse" offense at Florida. With that said, Tebow is one hell of an athlete and could have a very successful NFL career by taking two or three snaps as a QB per game while playing the rest of the snaps at tight end, full back or something else a pro NFL coach could use him at. | | | | | | |

| |  Tebow was a lot of fun to watch as the Gator's QB, but he carries the ball too low for an NFL QB. He would be stripped at every opportunity. He's tough enough and has a lot of athletic ability. I'd like to see him as a tight end. He would be amazing. I hope he's flexible enough to realize his limitations and accept this other important roll. Any team would be thrilled to have him as a TE.
