Valentines Day Crafts |
| |
| I am a crafter and would like to make something for my hubby this year. Any ideas out there for me, except a Valentines Day card? I don't want to give him that. Surely there must be a craft of some sort, or any idea that a guy might really like for Valentines Day. What do you suggest for a man? | | | | | |

| | Ya know, I don't know much about what men like - not having any except a brother close enough to give something to - and not going to even do that... Also, you didn't say what kinds of crafts you can do. if you paper craft, maybe you could do a picture/frame he could have at work of you two... If you knit, there probably isn't time to make something, but for next year you could maybe knit him something personalized If he wears a tie at work, perhaps if you can make him a tie pin? I just don't have enough info to help out here... | | | | | | |

| | i know i am a little late with this response but i have heard to some great ideas for any ocassion for a loved one. one thing i did for my hubbys birthday was collage an empty tin (it happened to be an unused paint can) with things that he liked and were about him. another thing i have heard of was to cut 365 strips of paper and write on each one of them. you would put things that you like about him; why he is special; things you have done together; other special memories etc. | | | | | | |

| | OOoo.. like little love notes. He has done that for me. I really like it when he leaves me a little message by the coffee pot so I see it when I go to get my morning coffee. I have found some romance books and websites also for other ideas on what men like. There is a book entitled "1001 Ways to be Romantic" by Gregory Godek. It helped me a lot with ideas for Valentines Day. | | | |

| | I can understand that. It's nice to know that romantic expressions can be very cheap and just as sentimental. Men do it all the time when they are strapped for cash. The book "1001 Ways to be Romantic" helped a lot. Poetry and love notes are just one way of showing your love. As a crafter, such notes can be put in special containers, scrolls, or objects we can make for our special someone. With Christmas coming, such expressions of love are also appropriate. | | | |
