President Obama want ideas on health care reform  

The President has called for input on what should be in the Health Care Bill.

Here is an Idea that I have and would suggest he consider it.

I would like to see the Health Insurance be the responsibility the individual. I would propose that everyone be allowed to have a tax deductible, tax free(growth) Medical Savings Account. People could then buy a high deductible (you decide how much out of pocket money you will spend) Health Insurance with an upper limit of say $100,000 limits. This would give the insurance company a limited liability and they could plan for the expenses. They you buy a $10,000,000 catastrophic policy with a $100,000 deductible. This would be very cheep because few would file claims. Allow the person to define what is covered such as a homeowners insurance or car insurance and allow you to purchase across state lines. Why should a non drinking person have to pay for Alcohol Treatment? Why should a woman pay for Hair Transplants for men. Once you have the policy you have it for life, unless you stop paying for it. You would be in control of you health care costs.

I feel that this would limit costs to the Insurance Co and provide for cheaper premiums for the consumer and provide the coverage they want. If you want a lower deductible then you would pay for it.

I would like to see what others would suggest for Health Care Reform.
