when swimming in the beach..what do you wear???

hello acie, well, i am kinda conservative type! lol! juust kidding! actually when swimming on the beach i am usually on shorts, but not short shorts...and a sleeveless sometimes even a shirt will do for me! hehe i am not really that comfortable with two piece, swimsuit or whatever...unlike when i am a kid that i can wear swimsuit without feeling shy...hehe but the last time, we went swimming, its not on the beach but on swimming pool nearby, i was forced to wear a proper swimming attire! haha two piece but not bikini! its just like what you wear... i have to wear that or else i will not be allowed to enter on the main pool!

haha =D If i can choose, i will opt for nothing!! lol =D Just kidding!! Be it at the beach or swimming pool, i will always be seen in a trunk, becasue that's the proper swim wear.. hehe ^_^ PLus, shorts is too long, and restrict my movements in the water.. lol =D Also, going to the beach is not just about swimming, but also tanning.. Thus trunks will be just nice to expose what is allowed to be tann too.. hehe

I used to wear just a one-piece as I was very conscious of my body, but last weekend, we went to boracay and I was like what the heck! I want to wear a bikini! So yeah, I worked out for a month and the results were pretty good, so I wasn't so shy wearing a two-piece. And you know, I was so conscious over nothing, because people there in Boracay aren't shy and don't hide their flaws, and I never encountered anyone looking like those models with awesome abs there hahah!

Hey Acie! I love beaches, and what I usually wear is a bikini top and shorts..I don't have to courage to go all out two piece. LOL. Anyway, maybe when I finally trimmed my tummy and my arms maybe I can go with two piece with no problems. My boyfriend on the other hands, doesn't really care what I wear, he's okay with everything, and I really like that about him. He also tells me if what I'm wearing doesn't look great or if it makes me look fatter. hahahhaa.

Because I don't have a beach body, lol, I normally go with shorts and a t-shirt. Recently I 've used a tank top with boy shorts, or a sleeveless shirt with boy shorts. If I had to go to the beach tomorrow, I wouldn't be able to wear those though and would have to revert to a t-shirt. :( I know a lot of people who really prepare for their beach trips so they can wear gorgeous bikinis!

Hi Acie, Since summertime is about to come in our country-- swimming will be an IN thing here. so whenever i am in the beach to swim-- i wear shorts and sleeveless. i only wear swimsuit in the swimming pool but not in the beach. i just don't feel like wearing a swimsuit in the beach!

it seems that none of the husband likes others to watch the fascinating body of his loved one in the public. I wonder whether this is really love or selfishness You know if you really wish to enjoy the true fun of swimming we actually should put on swimming tunks. The ordinary one whole piece could work well in the water. I hate to get suntan therefore I prefere to put on tshirt and short pants while having fun along the beach. Beach is not the ideal place to swim. I love to have relaxing swim in the indoor swimming pool as I couuld swim without worrying the scorching heat of the sun. We are not allowed to swim with other clothes except swimming costume when using the indoor swimming pool. Take care and happy posting

Of course I will wear the normal swimming suits when I go to swim. If I wear two pieces of swimming suits, it is still like a skirt. I dare not to wear something like bikini:) I am very traditional and I am so afraid to be so sexy:) I love China

I would prefer shorts acie rather than swimming trunks, if i would wear trunks i am afraid every chicks would run...( to me) Mobhomeir here...

The last time that I was ever even at a beach was almost six years ago for my honeymoon. My husband and I went to South Beach for our honeymoon and I had two new one piece bathing suits that I wore during our duration there. One of the suits that I wore was just a basic one piece suit while the other one that I wore was a swim dress. It was a one piece bathing suit with a skirted bottom on it. I love that bathing suit and still have it today.

hmmm here, if we see a lady wearing two piece- she will be the center of attraction... and people will whisper each other about what she wears and talk about it if the swimsuit really is suited for her... some will say, oh she's trying hard she didnt even have the body to flaunt... well, thats what i see whenever im in a public pool or beach... hmmm... me i just wear shorts and tshirt... hehe have a good day!

For us men, I believe that beachware is really easy because we are generally less self-conscious. I wear the usual, swimming trunks. My favourite are light blue covered in a Hibiscus pattern. You gotta love that Hawaiin theme

Since I am a conservative type of person, I don't wear two pieces. Even in a pool, I as much as I like to wear one, I still choose to wear swimsuit that's not so fleshy because I am not that confident in wearing those stuffs. When in the beach, I usually wear casual t-shirts and a shorts. That's it! :)

Acie, i like wearing a one piece bathing suit in a swimming pool, but when i go to the beach, i like to wear stretchy shorts and a t shirt. And my flip flops nearby in case i have to take off in a hurry. My favorite is t shirt and shorts. no problems there. With the bathing suit i have to worry about what's popping out. lol

Hi there Acie! Well, it depends upon the place. If I am in a decent one, with lots of privacy, I wear one-piece swimsuit and shorts but if there are lots of people and the place isn't private, I wear a white tee and shorts.

I wear shorts in swimming . I did not used to waer two piece. Now That I'm getting older I wish I could wear swim suit. Seems that I want to wear now that I am married. It's opposite feelings to you acie_21. This is my feelings now, my partner is okay but not yet tried out . Maybe this coming vacation I can do it. I think if you not tried, you wish to. But if tried out something has a problem its because of our dear ones. Anyway its good for us that we reminded to which they dont like.
